Frontier is selling roundtrip tickets to Mazatlan for $179 if you leave on Halloween.

What I'm Working On Today

A week in Maui for a group of 10 family members. Their hotel, the Outrigger Palms at Wailea, has one and two bedroom suites, complete with kitchens. The package is less than $900 per person for air, hotel and a minivan.



Also, I had to exchange the plane tickets for a family of 3 because one of their passports was expired. Be sure to check the expiration date on your passport at least 3 months before you travel internationally. And remember - passports will be required for US citizens traveling to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, starting January 1st.

Finding twelve hotel rooms for the Holstein Association during the Stock Show.

DisneyWorld in October

Check out the great special DisneyWorld is offering for the month of October. A package that includes 5 days and 6 nights in a Disney resort plus theme park tickets is $355 for adults, $217 for kids 10-17 and $176 for kids 3-9.

The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is going on during the entire month of October as well. Guests can prepare a meal with Rocco DiSpirito, learn about wine with sommelier Karen MacNeil, and eat authentic Peruvian, South African, and Turkish meals. Even better - Survivor, Loverboy and Gloria Gaynor are scheduled to perform.

Huatulco

Next February, Apple Vacations will begin charter service from Denver to Huatulco. Huatulco is located on the Pacific Ocean, in southern Mexico. This resort area is a well-kept secret, with fabulous weather year-round and a focus on eco-tourism. There are 9 bays nearby, making it a great destination for water sports. There should be some great specials for Huatulco coming out in the next month!

What I'm Working On Today

Switzerland and Austria in winter...
for a hip young couple who want to ski and see the sights.

After flying into Zurich and staying at this trendy boutique hotel in the heart of the Old Town, their trip includes a stop in Zermatt, home of the Matterhorn. Zermatt is a great traffic-free resort with year-round skiing.


They also have stops in Lucerne and Bern (the capital), two traditional Swiss towns. In Lucerne, they're staying directly on the lake in the most famous hotel in town, the Grand Hotel National.

Later, they are taking a train to Austria to see Salzburg, Mozart's gorgeous hometown, which also happens to be where The Sound of Music was filmed. Their hotel is decidedly Austrian.


Next, they stop in Hallstatt, a small Alpine village that is reportedly the oldest town in Europe. Their hotel is located on both the lake and the marketplace.

They are also stopping in Innsbruck for great skiing - there are 9 resorts nearby - and a stay in one of Europe's most beautiful towns.
